Now here is an issue for the environmentalists, and I think I've read some of them are actually on it.

The constant dosing of women with hormones in birth control pills (not to mention the mega-doses contemplated in the "morning after" pill) ultimately, via urine, go into the water supply, where there is concern that they are damaging fish and hence the food chain. Hence, even boys and men are getting too many estrogens, which affect aspects of masculinity including sperm count and viability. This is in addition to the estrogen horomones fed to meat animals for enhanced growth; I am against that, and in favor of sustainable animal production, e.g. on family farms.
