I'm glad to see that Kerry is boldly taking on the salmon issue. But would he be willing to launch an investigation into why they call it Chicken of the Sea even though there's no chicken in it?

Perhaps we need a Salmon Ambassador to the U.N. The press is worried the salmon won't LIKE us if we don't fix those dams. Maddie Albright is concerned the 'terrist Salmon' will turn on us...they're being deprived of a friendlier habitat by that mean ole George Bush.

Salmon czar? cool...I like my salmon done on the grill with a light butter/garlic brush followed by a squeeze of lemon.. Will the czar support this over the nerds who microwave salmon using mayonnaise and dill?

Roger Singer, Idaho director of the Sierra Club, a national environmental group, said either candidate would do more for salmon than President Bush.

There goes the salmon vote. By the way, shouldn't it be "tsalmon tsar"? Some experts on FR have noted that "tsar" is an academically more correct spelling... and it just has a nice written ring to it.
