Apparently he married wealthy socialite Julia Thorne in 1970. They separated later (she was going through bouts of depression that he just couldn't handle, so he left), and he then took up with numerous Hollywood starlets, reporterettes, and politicos, while still married to Julia. They didn't divorce until 1988. In 1995 he married wealthy widow Tuh-ray-zuh Heinz, but she insisted he get his first marriage annulled (as if it didn't ever exist). Talk about an insult to the children! So although a philanderer, adulterer, gold-digger, and general creep, he's not a bigamist.
