God Bless Fox and Jim Angle. Clarke is conclusively exposed as a political and financial opportunist. Based on my quick scan, this '02 interview pretty much contradicts everything he's said in the last week.
I hope someone on the Hill has the guts to nail him on this today.
His publisher should sue for fraud.

This will not be news, will scarcely even exist, unless the major media report it. And if they do not report it, it will be one of the most flagrant examples of journalistic irresponsibility that I can recall.

His publisher should sue for fraud. Are you kidding? His publisher probably encouraged him to make his claims as controversial as possible, so Viacom could take a Simon and Schuster book and use 60 Minutes to sell it as news.

Clarke is probably wondering where Rosemary Wood is currently residing....

My question is why would someone come out and make the comments that have been made this past week, knowing full well there is videotape contradicting those comments? I guess the answer is the hallmark answer to everything "Democratic" -- ARROGANCE.

His publisher should sue for fraud. But doesn't the publisher furnish an editor & the editor is supposed to be doing something beyond just picking up a paycheck?

He's exposed on the Fair and balanced media at least.
the Post runs a much different take which I'm sure they
will stick with. This is the kind of stuff I email to everyone that I know as I'm sure it will never see the light of day on the Partisan media outlets.

His publisher should sue for fraud. It would be interesting to know if Clarke wrote this book on his own, or was put up to it by others (no names need be mentioned).
