Why did you lower yourself to argue with a rock thrower.
He is nothing but a ROCK THROWER.
Nothing good whatsoever can come when a good man acts civilized in the presence of a rock thrower.
You might just as well try to converse with a rabid dog.
Next time he or any of his limited ilk throws one at you, just respond, "I do not converse with rock throwers."
Peace, brother. Spend your energy on individuals who are worthy of it.

"I think we can agree the RCC does not teach the worship of Mary"
That is perfectly true, and the rock throwers know full well that it is true. BUT THEY WILL KEEP ON THROWING THIS FALSE CHARGE AGAINST THE TRUTH.

Next time the limited ilk throw hate-filled anti-Catholic rocks at you, just respond, "I do not converse with rock throwers."
Peace, my friend. Spend your energy on individuals who are worthy of it.

Like those Democrats, who accuse Republicans of things they know are false, just to create sensationalism in the news?!?
As in, trying to yank my chain?!? Rather than engaging in a serious pursuit of the truth?!?
"Say it ain't so!! "
(Thanks. Feel free to ping me if you think I am being abused!!) ;)

Yeah, I know this is in the religious forum, but trust me, after post #929 it gets really funny!

"Evangelical Protestant Society"? Never heard of it. Must be the kind of folks who prefer thoughts of "a kinder, gentler crucifixion" (many thanks to the original FReeper who so wittily summed it up).
This evangelical Protestant was blessed by Gibson's film.

[ The idea of Purgatory stems from Maccaabees, which Luther removed from the Bible. ]
Wrong .. Eusibius(catholic priest) removed it from the bible plus several other extraneous questionable writings..

Well, Havoc's perfect knowledge of God must explain his perfect knowledge of the impact of trade on the economy.
It doesn't explain his lack of knowledge of math. Perhaps he mistranslated "Mean" and "Median" from the original Greek.
LOL

Absolutely. There may have been a few specific items in the film which highlighted the fact that the director / producer (Mel Gibson) is a staunchly conservative Roman Catholic (emphasis on Mary, the Mother of Jesus, Mary Magdelene portrayed as a prostitute, and the nails in the palm vs. wrist), but speaking as a Protestant I found them minor and the film as a whole the most moving cinematic experience I have ever had.
