Something from the heart and real

I know when I first got here on blackplanet I was trying to get to know everybody thats part of my home United States Of America now im defending it. I will be going to war soon with one of the worst countries in the World.

I will be on the front line watching any and everything a person could only have nightmares about and I will be facing it in first person view. Do I have a choice no and I don`t know if I will come back. The only things i ask of is love each other and represent and be proud of who u you are and where u live "The United States of America" because I raise my right hand and promise the All Mighty God that I will put my life on the line to protect each and every last one of you.

Some people say they couldn`t do that but. Hey someone has to do it. Love you all and keep America the great Country it is now.

The above passage was written on Blackplanet.com. In it's own way, it's a beautiful tribute to duty and country.

This past weekend, an infantry soldier named Jason C. Ford was killed in Iraq.

While I can't confirm with 100 percent assurance that the man who wrote the above passage is the same as the fallen hero, I confirmed they came from the same county, were based in the same place in Germany, and were both in Army infantry. Additionally, his other writings on Blackplanet.com suggests he is the same age as the man who died. I'm 99.9 percent sure it's the same man.

Spc. Jason C. Ford, 21, of Bowie, Md., died March 13 in Tikrit, Iraq, when his patrol encountered an improvised explosive device. Spc. Ford was assigned to the 1st Battalion, 18th Infantry Regiment, based in Schweinfurt, Germany. The incident is under investigation.

Jason judged our people and way of life, finding the courage to risk his own life to protect ours. My God bless our patriot hero. His sacrifice for my loved ones is appreciated beyond words.
