NEW YORK (Reuters) - Stocks fell on Monday, dragging major market gauges down 1 percent, as signs that al Qaeda may have masterminded the deadly bombings in Madrid raised fears of more surprise attacks around the world.

By late morning the Dow Jones industrial average (^DJI - News) was down 93.04 points, or 0.91 percent, at 10,147.04. The Standard & Poor's 500 Index (CBOE:^SPX - News) was down 11.73 points, or 1.05 percent, at 1,108.84. The technology-focused Nasdaq Composite Index (NasdaqSC:^IXIC - News) was down 29.72 points, or 1.50 percent, at 1,955.01.

Follow the money. How much you wanna bet George Soros is behind this market decline. If he is willing to spend millions to defeat George Bush he would also be willing to lose millions in the stock market to achieve the same. My bet is that you will find the market inexplicably declining between now and October in the face of continuing economic good news. If George Soros has the money to sink the currency of Malaysia and England, he certainly has the money to manipulate the market.
