This recent vote in Spain may not truly reflect the cowardice that it APPEARS to.
Some say that the ruling Popular Party really BUNGLED the immediate aftermath of the terrorist attack, by appearing to be LYING about their intelligence of culpability, Al Quada vs the ETA - in an attempt to gain short-term political advantage.
The PP loss may therefore be more the result of THIER incompetance than a loss of will by the general population.

This recent vote in Spain may not truly reflect the cowardice that it APPEARS to. I wouldn't have chosen the word cowardice in relation to the vote in Spain. Ignorant, foolish, lacking understanding and foresight perhaps.
As something like 77% of the voting population turned out, I'm afraid signs at a soccer match is just anecdotal and not representative of the plurality (of voters at least).
I want to make it clear that I don't hate the Spanish people, I'm just disappointed in them right now.
