CLEVELAND (AP) - A maintenance worker was suspended for displaying a sign with the word "traitor" on his state snowplow while helping provide security for President Bush's motorcade, officials said.
Michael Gerstenslager was asked to park a snowplow on an entrance ramp to block access to a highway the president's motorcade used to travel from Cleveland Hopkins International Airport into downtown Cleveland on Wednesday.
A state trooper in the president's motorcade saw the sign and reported it to the Ohio Department of Transportation, the agency's spokeswoman, Lora Hummer, said

Agreed. Protest 'til your face turns blue on your own time. Try to do it on the job, and be prepared to walk away with a chuck of your ass in your manager's jaws.

It could have been worse, Dubya could have stopped and kicked his arse. When I was lurking here during the recount fiasco, I often thought they should have settled it the old fashioned way. My money would have been on Bush for all takers, I would have literally emptied my pockets. The same thing goes for Kerry, three PH's and a Silver Star, not withstanding. The first mistake any dim made against President Bush was made by Ma Richards, I still see her once in a while coming up for air, on the Larry King give the liberals a leg up show.

reminds me of a client I visted last year...after navigating thru a set of cubicles after a meeting I ran across some Lib, who had all this anti Bush stuff in his den....I stopped and looked, he turned around and I asked "what's with all this" and he said it was his freedom of speech or something along those lines.....I asked if had any family pictures.....he puckered his face

I can recall that just before I went on salary as a labor relations administrator at a copper company, a mill employee was suspended for wearing a "scabs suck" T-shirt in the assay lab and refusing to go change out of it.. She and the union claimed the right to free speech and lost totally. An employer has an interest in an orderly workplace, etc. Seems directly applicable to this situation. I gives the leftists something to scream on cry about but signifies nothing. Lose control of the workplace and a few radicals will tear you to pieces.
