Let me state up front (for the record), exotic species suck and are usually a detriment when introducted into a non-native habitat.

However, while I've yet to hear of an account of silver carp activity in my home port, the thought of hooking into a fish with the size and fighting charatceristics described does present a certain appeal.

You have Coho and steelheads, walleyes, pike, and muskies galore!...you dont want these things!

Pike will devestate a lake or river as well but I still likes ta catch em! so I understand where youre coming from.

Hows the Rainbow trout where you are?
