These folks must be dumber than a hammer. There are rational arguments against capital punishment, (they are wrong, but rational). This crowd refuses to advance anything rational; instead, it insults perfectly innocent victims of the most vile and most obviously guilty of murderers who murder strangers for the pure joy of taking human life.

Perhaps, this bunch really favors capital punishment and by the ludicrous positions it takes is trying to destroy all credibility of anyone who really opposes the death penalty.
