New York, NY - Former New York City Mayor Rudolph Giuliani issued the following statement:
"September 11th is the defining event of our times. This was a shared experience that the American people have all been through together. The war that the terrorists began on September 11th continues today.
"President Bush has provided the steady, consistent and principled leadership to bring our country through the worst attack in our history. His leadership on that day is central to his record, and his continued leadership is critical to our ultimate success against world terrorism."

I'm sure that Rudy has been waiting for just such an opportunity and will be prominent in the campaign.

Rudy is so popular that he can deliver NY for Bush/Cheney in the election. It's going to be tough but he can get it done. If NY goes GOP, Kerry is toast.

You think the Kerry crybabies will realize they have been b**** slapped?

Why can't the stupid party find us a Senate Majority leader who will lead like Rudy. What a disgrace the Republicans are. They don't really believe that the American people want them to use the power they have given them. Unless this changes we're finished.

My 2 oldest sons are in the military and they trust President Bush to be their commander-in-chief. I cringe at the thought of Kerry in control of America's armed forces.

As will former mayor and admitted lib democrat Ed Koch. Some people get it some idiots don't

I'm not surprised that there has been a hue and cry about Bush's first ad. And there will be more of the same for each new ad!
This is the forerunner of the most nastiest and dirty fight all summer long!
We really need to help as much as we can to defeat Kerry's bid for presidency. That means volunteering for campaign duty, walk, donations, and your time.
This fight is not going to be won by just sitting down and doing nothing! You can help! A lot!

Sheesh, if they have gone beserk over the mere mention of 9/11, can you imagine the reaction to a campaign ad featuring this:
There would have to be an:
ELITE MEDIA SUICIDE WATCH.
Dept of Homeland Security - CODE RED.
DEFCON 5 ALERT. LOL
To: All
Wow.
Rudy's statement was about 100 times longer than the nanosecond clips of 9.11 on GW's campaign ads.

The one thing that bothers me about Rudy Giuliani is that he is pro-abortion. It doesn't fit in with anything else about his character. He was a wonderful mayor, he is a loyal friend to his friends, and he has more guts than any ten ordinary politicians.
