It's a myth. Manufacturing jobs are disappearing all over the world, not just the USA. Even in China, they are disappearing. We just don't need as many manufacturing employees to produce the same amount of stuff. The country who wins the economic race will be the one which adjusts to that reality the quickest, funneling the displaced workers into other employment. So far, we're it. Of course, Kerry could change all that.
