RINO's Who Voted To Extend Assault Weapons Ban
Fox News | 02 March 2004 | Sean327

Posted on 03/02/2004 12:20:42 PM PST by sean327

The following is the list of Republican Senators who voted with the Democrats to extend the Assault Weapons Ban, and require background checks at gun shows.

John Warner, Va. John McCain, Az. Lincoln Chafee, RI. Susan Collins, Maine Mike Dewine, Ohio Peter Fitzgerald, Illinois Judd Gregg, New Hampshire Richard Lugar, Indiana Gordan Smith, Oregon Olympia Snowe, Maine George Voinovich, Ohio

These RINO's must pay at the ballot box the next time they come up for re-election. Call, E-mail, and write their respective offices. Inudate them with mail voicing our disgust at being betrayed.

I voted against Voinovich today. I will look forward to giving DeWine his walking papaers when I get the chance. DeWine also voted against ANWR drilling. I think I helped put a liberal democrat in office. And they say Ahnold is a republican in name only.

Something told me not to vote for Voinovich in the Ohio primary today. Don't know the other guy, but he can't be much worse.

Eagle...this is the way I understand it...

The Senate voted Tuesday to extend for another decade a ban on military-style assault weapons and to require background checks on buyers at private gun shows, giving Democrats rare victories on gun legislation that would also deny crime victims the ability to sue gunmakers and dealers.

Right now the absolutely imperative thing is to call our Representatives in the House and tell them politely, but in no uncertain terms, to strip all of the gun grabbing garbage out of this bill and to stand firm in the conference committee. If we do that, we could still end up with a clean bill.

I just called my representative, John Duncan (R) of Knoxville, TN, and received a committment from his representative that he will stand firm. When you call it's vital to identify yourself and give your address so your Representative knows you're in his or her district.

Phone calls are far more effective than e-mails.

A bit surprised but pleased that Norm Coleman isn't on the list. Certainly Wellstone would have been.
