According to the amendment made to paragraph 'a' in the first clause of Article 9 of the Código Fiscal de la Federación in México, the money transfers that Mexicans send to their country would be subject to federal taxation
For example, this means that out of the $13.3 billion dollars that were sent last year to México, 35 percent ($4.6 billion) -- more or less the tax owed -- would have to be paid to the government.

This proposal could easily accelerate emigration from Mexico to the U.S.
Some recipients of money sent to Mexico will choose to move to the U.S., rather than accept an additional tax. Those that stay in Mexico will be angry, and the likelihood of social and political turmoil there will increase. That, in turn, will also accelerate emigration.
What do you think?

Now if we would just attach a 15% tax on money being transferred OUT of the U.S. If they file a legitimate tax return at the end of the year, they can get it back.

How bad does that suck for someone here legally or a US citizen who wants to help the folks back home, 40 % to the USA then 35% to Mexico. Earn $100 dollars they get $39.

Since you asked.... I think all money transfers to Mexico from the USA should be taxed at 55% on the American side! That would help prevent your so called "accelerated emigration".

"Looks like 'Fox & Friends' intend to collect some tax $$$"Do you see the scam here? Fox wants us to keep illegals so they can siphon off money from here so he can suck it up there.

This proposal could easily accelerate emigration from Mexico to the U.S. Sure could, & Vicente is all for shipping millions more north.
What do you think?
The mexican gov't unable to 'steal' from the rich, has now stooped to stealing MORE from their poor.

Do you believe this? They take jobs from Americans, yet less than 6% pay any taxes at all here! They cost us a fortune in subsidies, yet Mexico gets to tax them on it.

Looks like 'Fox & Friends' intend to collect some tax $$$ Fox isn't happy with his millions of dollars apparently. He would be stomping around clenching his fists at us if we suggested we were going to tax this income at even half that rate.
The USA should tax this because it's income made here, the money isn't earned in Mexico --- that government didn't create the economy that provided the job.

Do you see the scam here? ANYTIME the mexican gov't is involved it's a SCAM.
Fox wants us to keep illegals so they can siphon off money from here so he can suck it up there.
Sure he does, Fox is already thinking about his retirement fund. In 2 yrs he'll be collecting 5 mil a year for doing NOTHING.

yet Mexico gets to tax them on it.Looks like we'll have to raise taxes here on Americans to raise the subsidies higher yet for illegals -- to make up for the amount stolen by their government.
