How many stories like this one is it going to take before Democratic voters in this country feel like they've been had? The latest Senator Kerry fundraising scandal was uncovered by the Los Angeles Times. I've told you about a number of these, so you can just throw this one on the pile with everything else that smells bad about the candidacy of John Kerry.
It turns out that Kerry's office sent 28 letters on behalf of a contractor that just plead guilty last week to illegally funneling campaign contributions to the Massachusetts Senator and four other congressmen. And this is the guy that says he wants to take back Washington from the special interests? Does he think we're all idiots? He's the special interests' best friend. It's nice to see his lapdogs in the media are finally figuring this stuff out.
During a three-year period, Kerry received $25,000 from a defense contractor and its employees, all while his office was sending letters to the Pentagon and other members of Congress on behalf of this company. Those are pretty expensive letters. One thing we've learned through all the Kerry fundraising scandals so far is that the guy doesn't work cheap.
Can you imagine if this same scenario involved George Bush and Halliburton? The mainstream media would be protesting on the White House lawn with pitchforks. Once again, the media gives the Democrats special treatment. And we're supposed to believe they're not biased?
