Probably the most important issue I disagreed was on whether Arnold was the best candidate in that election.

Time for some heat so the governor will see the light.

We cannot survive the anarchy going on in this state. No one can tell from one day to the next which laws will be upheld and which ones summarily dismissed by elitist politicians.

Pro-family activist Gary Bauer says Newsom's action has created "yet another constitutional crises with respect to marriage"

Nonsense. These people will simply have a rude awakening when their marriage licenses are rejected by Sacramento. They will be surprised when they file on April 15 jointly, and have their returns rejected by the IRS. IT will be most amusing to watch the first divorce case where the richer "partner" will deny the 50% claims of the poorer one on the basis that the marriage itself was illegal.

I saw on the news tonight that the marriage license fee was something like $190 . 1700 licenses issued = $323,000 in fees collected.

Couldn't the Mayor and Register of Deeds be charged with fraud?

McClintock is/was a kook

It's amazing how much you know about McClintock up in your Michigan compound. Follow the election day by day, did you?

Perhaps you can enlighten me as to where you disagree with McClintock on the issues?

A trick question, Flashman. He's in Michigan, so he can't possibly have heard McClintock's speeches. But he has watched all of Arnold's movies, so that alone makes him an expert on the recent California recall election.

We cannot survive the anarchy going on in this state. No one can tell from one day to the next which laws will be upheld and which ones summarily dismissed by elitist politicians.

The Mayor and Judge act in collusion, the Judge refusing to stop the process with flimsy arguments of unconstitutionality of current law and the Mayor ordering the clerk's office remain open through the three day weekend to get over 2000 test cases through the door before regular State business hours begin on Tuesday.

The object of this 'sneak attack' is of course the Legislature and the voting Majority who has to now withstand activitist and media castigation for forcing this 'desparate act of disobedience' to be taken. Any attempt to reverse this will be cast as reactionary and will test the mettle of all who wish to return to the status quo.

Phone the local television station and tell them that the mayor is violating state law and that it is the responsiblity of the state government, the attorney general, and the people to see that it is enforced.

I agree with you. BUT -- Arnold will do nothing. He is incapable of understanding that the law is being broken...and he won't lift a finger to uphold Proposition 22. He supports homosexual domestic unions. People yet will see the real Arnold -- who has already broken his pledge for a real spending limitation, and is plotting now to bring back drivers licenses for illegal aliens.

I've read enough of this McClintock dope's stuff here on FR. It's clear that he was working for Bustamonte. Glad to see most CA voters were smart enough to reject this self centered greedy little punk. He's proven to be a dem allie ever since Arnold was elected.

Sure. I read what you and Stone Cold and that other McClintock shill wrote during the election. It only confirmed my theory - whoever you all are for, sane americans should be against.

So on which of the issues was Arnold better than McClintock? Perhaps you feel he was the most electable candidate rather than the better conservative?

I am sure you have heard the old saying, as goes California...
