It's a funny premise, but since not one source chose to be identified, I get the feeling this is a newsroom joke.

Bubba's not happy unless he's working some scam behind the scenes to bolster his own stranglehold on American politics....Well, that, and being serviced by an intern while he's working some scam.

Why did Clark's camp leak the Kerry affair then? It makes no sense.
To: kattracks
Bubba's objective is transparent: he wants to get rid of John F. Kerry so he doesn't interfere with Hillary's 2008 White House plans. The bottom line is if Hillary wants to be President, no Democrat is going to be elected this year. Former President Clinton couldn't make it any clearer to the Democratic Party's new front-runner than by trying to saddle him with the Clinton sock puppet, Gen. Wesley "Mad Hare" Clark.

A lot of DUers actually hope for this scenario. They think most people will be so in love with the Vietnam "heroes".

Wes Clark on the ticket would be a gift from above.

Classic case of throwing good money after bad. Clark is a sunk cost.

I don't understand why people are so affraid of Hillary! The moment her hubby endorces her, she'll be through. Bill's endorcements are the "Kiss of Death!"
President Bush called the Patriots and complimented them on a great game.
Al Gore called the Panthers and said he thought they were robbed.
Bill Clinton called Janet Jackson.

Oh yeah, I'm sure Kerry wants someone like Clark, who can't keep his yap shut, and would undermine his Presidency at every chance he got. Personally, I'd love to see Clark get the V.P. nod from Kerry. He'd spread so much dirt about Kerry that the GOP wouldn't have to spend any ad money.

I can't wait to watch and laugh at "Barney the custodian"
aka lil wessie clark, get his ass kicked day after day.
Won't it be fun when they start to ask Barn, why he got canned by clinocchio?!!!!
I call him Barney cusodian because he seems like he was clean the floor at a rat rally when somebody asked him to stand on the stage for a mic and lighting check.
"Hey Barney stand there for a sec while we make some checks, willya?" "What do I say?" "Say anything Barn, it doen't matter, your not really the candidate, and Barn put down that broom."
