"Mr. Kerry, there are more than two million Vietnamese refugees now in America. Many of those have since become U.S. citizens. Why have none of those people ever complained of the atrocities against civilians that you said were pervasive during your service on the Mekong Delta? Why did a prominent Vietnamese language newspaper in Northern Virginia yesterday refer to you as a "phan boi," or traitor?"

Mr. Kerry, what did you mean when you referred to the downing of TWA 800 as a terrorist act, on Larry King Live and Chris Matthews' Hardball?

"Mr. Kerry, there are more than two million Vietnamese refugees now in America."
And by a fairly high proportion, they vote Republican and conservative.
Why? They recall it was the dems that botched the military aspect of the effort. They realize the dems then decided to cut bait and run. The Vietnamese community will associate the anti-war effort with dems.
Also, the Vietnamese are pro-small business. And they see Republicans as more friendly to business owners.

Amen to that question. One question I would like to ask Kerry is why did you come back home and protest while my brother was still there fighting? And as a follow up did not John McCain say the Vietnamese used this against PO W's?
