Falling Boulder [Leftist Indoctrination Center alert]

Many American schools have sponsored pro-gay speakers, allowed pro-gay art displays, and sanctioned clubs called "Gay-Straight Alliances." But Colorado's Boulder Valley School District is going a step further, advancing new curriculum standards that would require students to "demonstrate" their acceptance of homosexuality.
Among the skills the district has proposed as essential to a proper education: Students would have to demonstrate they can "provide peer support" for homosexual classmates; students would also have to demonstrate they can "advocate for a school environment free of ... homophobia."
Other standards would require students to explain the health consequences of "heterosexism," and identify "diverse groups in American society ... by culture, ethnicity, age, sex, religion, sexual orientation ... "

Just in case you still thought public schools had much to do with education. As evidenced in the horrific story
A School Engineered for Failure (one wonders if that school is in Boulder CO), they appear to be much more concerned with indoctrinating some preferred new social order, rather much like the experiences of children under the totalitarian regimes of the last century.

Cartman will not go along with this nonsense.

Somebody allowed the Left to dominate academia....and we will all pay a heavy price as a result. Same thing with the legal profession, labor, the bureaucracy, etc. Where are the conservatives?

If this is true, it's absolutely wonderful! Homeschooling will skyrocket in Boulder.

I think this has gone far enough. Tolerating or accepting is one thing. Having to show proof of compliance and advocating is another.
This is outrageous.

Will the government indocrination camps also insist that its subjects demonstrate tolerance and acceptance for gun owners? No.

What will they do to prevent the epidemic of normalphobia that is so common on campus? How did/does deviance and perversion get so much clout?
Sure, normal parents feel guilt because of their failure to raise a normal child and, it is natural to support them even thought they are strange. But, that doesn't account for all the political power that deviants now have. Even when you throw in all the priests and their influence, it doesn't explain it.
The simple logic in examoning the definition of the word "marriage" defeats any possible of faggot unions. It is the same as allowing a runner to enter a swim meet by defining swimming as something you can do without water and demanding that politicians, clergymen, journalists and judges confirm your distortion. Where do the normalphobes get this power?

Well, I guess some parents and students might resist and tell the homosexuals to stick their curriculum up their butts, as everything else goes up there.
I can't imagine how this is going to go over with people who have religious reasons for not wanting to "embrace" homosexuality, but they might just have to leave the public sector and start their own private schools.

rather much like the experiences of children under the totalitarian regimes of the last century. We do have a totalitarian regime: the NEA and the teacher's unions.
Frankly, that hadn't occurred to me until I saw your use of 'totalitarian'. It precisely fits.

There are probably 10 or 11 true homophobes in the entire country. The rest of us are repulsed. They are fighting something that doesn't exist or they need to start using a more honest term.
Decent people need to start demonstrating in front of these schools. Show the other side of the coin.

More tolerance from the Left fascists.
"Tolerance" means using education as a means to promote egalitarian socialism. "Compassion" means that you get to pay to have your children made into revolutionaries for the sexual proletariat.

sanctioned clubs called "Gay-Straight Alliances." I bet you dopn't find many straights in these "Alliances" (alliances for what? permission to possess Bibles in school?).

"totalitarian" And don't forget the prototypical "re-education camps" (that itself a euphonism) called "sensitivity training" that one has to undergo if one transgresses The New Social Order.

Unconstitutional if it requires students to say or do something contrary to their religious beliefs. I hope it's challenged in court.

Homeschooling will skyrocket in Boulder.I'm afraid that too many parents in the "People's Republic of Boulder" will happily send their children off for indoctrination (& help them with their homework?) Thank you God that none of this was going on when I graduated there!

Homosexual Agenda Ping. This take the cake. This gets the award. This is the nadir of evil.
Take heed, and take your kids out of school YESTERDAY!!
(And let me know if you want on or off this increasingly busy and vital ping list.)
