As a San Francisco resident, I hope that Mayor Newsome has the same liberal attitude when I start to "pick and choose" which city laws I will obey.

I'm curious as to if the City Clerk's office is issuing marriage licenses to heterosexual couples, I'm wondering if you happen to know anyone who would like to test this?

Because it seems to me that one of the major ways to shut down this farce is to have a heterosexual couple go down there, apply for a license and join the throng who are being married one right after another.

And if there is the slightest problem; the briefest hesitation or even more probably, the admonishment by the clerk's office to go down to the County Clerk and file a standard marriage application -- well, then you have one heck of a great lawsuit to file against the city.

Ahh, yes, the wonders of our legal system; a discrimination suit against the city of San Fransisco.. I wonder how much could be collected?
