...with the blessing of newly elected Mayor Gavin Newsom...Can this perp be impeached?
To: Libloather
What a shame that an elected official can stoop to such low levels. Openly breaking the law. What a sleaze.

Probably, but who would replace him? SF is completely under the control of the mentally ill.

If San Francisco were completely beyond hope, this news story would not exist. There are people there who can sort things out. Question is, will this theoretical mayor survive his/her term?

I would assume that a Marriage license issued illegally isnt worth the paper its written on.

The queers are trying to run the country. Who'd a thunk?
I don't understand why arrest warrants aren't being passed out. Why aren't the anarchists being put in jail? Our nation has laws. They're all engaging in criminal behavior.
Like I've always said, we never should have allowed the homosexuals to be let out of the insane asylums. They were a danger to society then, they're a danger to society now.
This sounds like a fascist take over, where fascist judges in black robs dictate our laws.
"A dictatorship for the people, against the people."
America had better wise up to what's happining in this country right now, and fast!!!

"Even people who are anti-gay marriage might shift their thinking nowOn the contrary, there's just been a huge awaking, and it's not quite what the homos wanted. Americans, a free people, object to being forced to obey.

Call the powers-that-be in Orange County and tell them to start issuing gun permits to one and all!! Don't let this lawlessness go to waste! Woopee! Anything goes!

I wonder how long California has before the big quake hits.
The clock is ticking.
You don't mess with nature or it's laws. It always wins. Think Sodom and Gomorrah.

Can you imagine how screwed up the estate of a married gay person will be if they die without a will? Children or othervrelatives suing the "illegal" spouse.

Print yourself up a liquor license and open a liquor store in the back of your SUV!!! You got just as much right to put out phony licenses as the mayor of SF!

This is a waste of time. We have law by Judicial Edict. Since the liberals out number us in the judiciary, expect more laws passed by judges than by Congress or state legislatures. We need to call the Supreme Court the Supreme Legislative Body. Once we do so, we can vote on the Judges just like we vote for Congress.

As a San Francisco resident, I hope that Mayor Newsome has the same liberal attitude when I start to "pick and choose" which city laws I will obey.

Fox news is killin' me today. All day long with the kissing couples. I don't want to see lesbians kissing any more than I wanted to see Janet Jackson's bare tit, but at least I only saw that once...I guess it's the Food Channel for me this weekend.

I don't understand why arrest warrants aren't being passed out. Why aren't the anarchists being put in jail? Our nation has laws. They're all engaging in criminal behavior. You seem to be overlooking that the mayor has a valid rationale. The state's contitution does guarantee equal protection of the law. Who's to say his decision to issue marriage licenses to gays is agenda driven and not a sincere will to abide by the constitution? It would seem he's within his legal discretion.

Yet another reason for any business to stay as far away as possiblie from CF. Imgaine what an employers insurance costs are going to be if "partner" rights are now based on ffeeeeeeelings rather tha codifiable law.
Any updates?
To: tdadams
California has a DOMA. It is against the law and not within his discretion. Nice disembling.
Those "couples" are only entitled to CF civil unions. nothing else.
