Job Seeker Is Model Constituent [Original Source Of Kerry Womanizing Story?]
The Boston Herald | Sept 2, 1998 | Gayle Fee And Laura Raposa

Job seeker is model constituent Gayle Fee; Laura Raposa

Question of the day: Who was the statuesque blonde strutting out of Sen. John Kerry's palatial Louisburg Square manse late Monday night when Kerry's wife, heiress Teresa Heinz, was on Nantucket?

We are told she is a 22-year-old Harvard student and former model who, Kerry's people claim, was dropping off a resume.

Our spies on the Square say the stunning Southern gal, dressed in oh-so-chic black, arrived at Kerry's townhouse around 11:15 p.m. and left just before the clock struck 12.

Not unlike Cinderella.

Which leads us to ask: In the age of Monica Lewinsky, is it smart for a senator with presidential aspirations to be entertaining attractive women when the wife is away?

"He was very kind to me. He offered to pass my resume along," the young woman told the Track.

The Georgetown grad said she was not at Kerry's home at midnight - more like 10:45 p.m. - and that she would have dropped off the resume earlier except that it was locked in her brother's apartment.

Both the young woman and Kerry's people insist the encounter was completely innocent. They said the senator met her on Nantucket earlier this summer, then again last weekend.

She supposedly mentioned she was looking for a job and he told her to drop off a resume.

Which she did after attending a party for her brother in Boston the other night.

"They met, she mentioned the fact she was looking for a job and she dropped off her resume," said Kerry's spokesguy, Jim Jones. "It was like 15 minutes."

Jones also claims the meeting between Kerry and the young woman happened earlier in the evening, after the senator returned home from having drinks with a Globe reporter at the fab Four Seasons hotel.

"He had drinks until about 9:15, went home, had dinner, then she came by," Jones said.

The senator was on the phone to his wife about 11:15, Jones said, and in bed by midnight.

Jones said there's nothing going on between Kerry and the young woman.

"The tone and appearance of that would be horrendous in the current climate," he said.

It definitely wasn't. I'm looking at it right now and I don't see it.

Alexandra Polier is mentioned in a June, 2002 post as a masters degree candidate at Columbia U. school of journalism.

She seemed to concentrate on fluff pieces. Prom dresses, bowling alleys, etc.

Yeah, here is a sample of her J-school work:

And it is from 2002, so she might be quite young. (Or a late bloomer.)

This one sounds a bit different than the gal in the story up above though.

But from the story above, the coming over late at night for an hour or less fits with the earlier story you have up about that heiress who bolted for David Gilmour. Same modus operandi.

A pattern?

From what I've heard he has quite a rep as a Romeo.

Also, with Teresa's temper, you'd think he'd want to keep any encounter as brief as possible.

LOL. Did you post your reply twice in order to emphasize your remark? Just kidding. Actually, my reference was to
Kerry's previous surgery for prostate problems and his possible need for "help", a la Viagra, currently being pushed by "Da Coach".

I put up a piece speculating about Emma Gilbey, with various sources from the Daily News, New York Post and Sunday Times.

But then I got further information, so agreed with the mods to delete it.

But Kerry appears to have been involved with her at some point.

Just to update this thread:

Kerry to answer sex affair claim
By New York Correspondent PHILLIP COOREY
February 14, 2004

FACING the first crisis of his campaign, Democratic presidential nomination front-runner John Kerry will today respond to allegations he had a two-year affair with a young woman who has since fled the country.

Branded a political dirty trick by the Democrats, the pro-Republican Drudge Report website yesterday accused Senator Kerry, 60, of having an affair that threatened "to turn the race for the presidency on its head".

At the centre of the allegations is Alex Polier, 24, who had worked as a New York-based reporter for Associated Press. She now is now in Kenya.

Her parents, Donna and Terry, speaking from Malvern, Pennsylvania yesterday, said there was no evidence of an affair, only that Senator Kerry may have been attracted to their daughter.

Mr Polier said Senator Kerry had called his daughter "two or three years ago" to ask her to work on his re-election team. She declined.

"I think he's a sleaze-ball," Mr Polier told London's Sun newspaper.

Mrs Polier claimed Senator Kerry was "after" her daughter.

Drudge, which broke the Bill Clinton-Monica Lewinsky scandal, alleged yesterday that a young woman, "recently fled the country, reportedly at the prodding of Kerry" after a two-year affair beginning in early 2001.

Drudge further claimed General Wesley Clark, in an off-the-record conversation this week with reporters just before he dropped out of the race for the White House, said that "Kerry will implode over an intern issue".

General Clark made no mention of this during an interview with CNN yesterday. Today, he will throw his support behind Senator Kerry as the Democrat candidate to challenge George W. Bush at the November 2 federal election.

Senator Kerry is married to Teresa Heinz, heiress of the food empire.

He has two daughters from his first marriage, which ended in 1990.

Wonder how the reporter knew this girl was southern. I am southern and I see southern girls and girls from other parts of the country and they don't look any different. People are going to have to stop this stereotyping of people if we are ever going to be taken seriously.

If there were not, then I surely would have moved to Iceland a long time ago.
