[history]
The White House yesterday released military records that it said demonstrate conclusively that President Bush completed the required drills leading to an honorable discharge from the Texas Air National Guard in 1973.
"These documents clearly show that the president fulfilled his duties," said White House spokesman Scott McClellan as he waved copies of smudgy, 31-year-old pay and accreditation records stored on microfilm in a U.S. government military archives in Colorado.

The treasonous Democrat scum want to undermine our president while we are under attack from the Islamofascists.
Disgusting.

So, now there is only the small matter of Kerry's slanderous, opportunistic lies upon returning from his 3 months in Vietnam:
---When young Kerry returned to the States, he began protesting against the Vietnam War. On April 23, 1971, Kerry testified before Congress about atrocities he had allegedly seen and heard about. He testified that American soldiers ''raped, cut off ears, cut off heads, taped wires from portable telephones to human genitals and turned up the power, cut off limbs, [had] blown up bodies, randomly shot at civilians, razed villages, shot cattle and dogs for fun, poisoned food stocks, and generally ravaged the countryside of South Vietnam.'' He stated there never was a communist threat in Vietnam.---

"We also still do not know why the president's superiors filed a report saying they were unable to evaluate his performance for that year because he had not been present to be evaluated," he said. Can someone tell me what this "unable to evaluate performance" means miltarily? I read in a post here today (I've searched for over an hour and can't relocate the post) where a Freeper explained that this did not mean Bush was not physically there to be evaluated but something else. Any help?

When Kerry ranted at the hearing about all the bad stuff he "had heard" about in Nam, it makes me wonder if he might not be freeloading off the government for PTSD like so many are doing according to the book "Stolen Valor". Kerry needs to come clean. Ain't going to happen. Ain't enough handi-wipes in the world.

For democrats, the end always justifies the means.
Let's see to it that we put an end to Kerry and the democrats' bid to gain control of our congressional houses and the White House.
Damn them. Damn all of them. As you stated, Ambrose, we're under attack and they think it's appropriate to undermine our president, a man who's so much better in every way, than any of them or of all of them combined.

Nope, now they are questioning President Bush because someone has raised an allegation that papers about his service were thrown away. It will never end...

Now let's review: they were hell bent today about the months of April through October, right, the months where there were no pay vouchers?
Ah, wouldn't April through October have been the months when he would have been CAMPAIGNING?????????????????????

I believe the whole "awol" BS is a big lie tactic that was used by the Nazis. Repeat a big lie often to get your opponent on the defensive. Moore was used to push the big lie for clark, however Kerry intercepted. (perhaps)
Either way the reporters are active participants in the big lie propaganda. They know it is a lie because they checked it out in 2000 and checked it out when he beat Ann (the battleax) Richards.
To: kcvl; Howlin
I resent the damn media --- they've researched this for years and they know they're beating a dead horse --- they are just banking on twisting "new comers" to politics. Damn them to Hell.
There is no 'there' there or here.

Hard to even concieve that the military would "misplace" fighter pilot.
Sounds like there are some democrat old soldiers with sour grapes that the lietenant is now their commander and chief.
The accusations are nothing more than a page from the Nazi propaganda book. It the Big Lie theory redux to put President Bush in a defense position.
This was foolish because it puts Kerry's medals and record and early out as fair game.
BTW does anyone know if it was normal for three times wounded soldiers to ask for early out?
