Mansoor Ijaz On The Brit Hume Show (Fox News)

Please help me fill-in the discussion with Mansoor Ijaz and Brit Hume about the spread of nuclear weapons.

Mansoor said that at least 3 other countries beside Libya, Iran and N. Korea have nuclear technology from Pakistan and 'maybe' 2 others.

He seemed to confirm that the terrorist have 'dirty bombs' and are anxious to use them now that the US is aware of them.

He said that the terrorists around the world already have their radiological bombs (dirty bombs). That was just as scary as the first time. Damn. Something is gonna happen somewhere.

Saw the replay and Mansoor said he became aware of the activities of Khan and others with respect to their activities on Nuclear proliferation ....when he was negotiating the settlement, Summer of 2000 ..... with Jihadists in Kashmir.....seems ambiguous to me!

**That's the nature of the intelligence buisness.**

Monsoor Ijaz only tells a thinblefull of what he really knows. That's why it is difficult for us to fill in the gaps sometimes.

I DO think he is credible.

Guys,

You seriously believe the pres is taking these hits which not only are lowering his poll numbers but also demoralizes the military to say "ha ha I told you so?" I don't think so.

I believe Iraq had wmd's. I think they're either buried or in Syria and Iran or even Malaysia or Chechnya. I believe Iraq was tied into the first WTC bombing. I believe W had no choice but to go into Iraq EVEN IF there were no wmd's there. We couldn't risk that there were. This is what makes me furious with the RNC - their inability to remind everyone that we went into Iraq based on their multiple ties to terrorism and their repeated stalling of weapons inspectors. Everyone including Hans Blix thought the weapons were there. What else could a president do but what President Bush did? To have not gone would have been irresponsible.

Meanwhile, re:Mansoor - I'd like to believe him, but he continues to be all hat and no cattle. Therefore, I'll keep him on my "take it with a grain of salt" list for now.

No. Not to say "Ha Ha, I told you so." This isn't about politics, it's about beating terrorism. If you think that the Bush Administration and our intelligence agencies should be bullied into revealing the full picture of what's going on because the rabid monkeys of the press want to fling their poop, you're crazy. If you think that this is administration is going to endanger America by responding to Screaming Dean, Roaring Gore, or Lurch, think again. There is so much scary stuff going on out there that we don't know, it could cause economic instability here if the general public knew the full extent of the threat we face.

30% of America will vote Bush. 30% will vote for Lurch. It's the remaining 40% that you have to get. The last few months of the campaign are critical. The Dems are going to end up looking stupid to all but their base by November.

IT'S FEBRUARY

It always looks bad in the beginning when you're drawing your opponent in....

And remember, we pay far more attention to this stuff on a daily basis than the general public. All those negatives about Bush faded fast with the Thanksgiving Surprise. And the capture of Saddam was another big boost. I think that we're getting close to OBL.

Does it really make a difference who was leading in the 1st quarter after you've won the game?

Burma -- no way (offered as a former FP specialist on the country)
Sudan -- no how (no money).

Syria
Nigeria (military rumored)
Brazil (new communist leader came into power promising to build the bomb)

South Africa (ANC radicals could change Mandela's policy as he is sick, and certainly when he dies)?
Former Soviet Central Asian country?

Oh, I hope it's sooner, also. But because we don't "have" OBL (and if we did, there be a lot more reason for it than politics, i.e getting info) we cannot guarantee any timing.

Which is why I'm giving them time...

The O'Reilly Factor - USF's Sami Al Arian's Arrest (And What The Muslims Say About It)

The O'Reilly Factor - USF's Sami Al Arian's Arrest (And What The Muslims Say About It)
The O'Reilly Factor | 26 February, 2003

Posted on 02/26/2003 6:10 PM PST by Happy2BMe

Tonight on The O'Reilly Factor, Bill O'Reilly addressed the arrest of Florida State University Professor Sami Al Arian. Bill O'Reilly's guest was Fox news analyst Mansoor Ijaz.

Bill O'Reilly pointed out that he had been under heavy attack over the past year from the Muslim community for originally breaking the first arrest of Professor Al Arian, but had kept quiet over the ongoing debate.

Sami Al Arian was arrested on terrorism-related charges and Bill O'Reilly said that if he was innocent, Al Arian should be fully exhonerated and given full backpay.

In the closing remarks of the segment, Bill O'Reilly said that if the Islamic Imams had come out publicly, which they should have done, after 9/11, and condemned it with mass rallies that he would receive it. Bill O'Reilly said that it was the imam's responsibiity to tell the American people what they think - not his.

Bill O'Reilly gave the closing remarks to Fox News analyst Mansoor Ijaz, who had led a very stern and vigorous (sometimes heated) defense for Islam during the segment.

Manssor Ijaz's reply to Bill O'Reilly:

"You're right about that, but there is a problem - and that is that these people are scared. They're scared of you, they're scared of the media, they're scared of people that are driving them further and further under the ground.

And, I'm telling you that it is creating a basement that is going to retaliate against the American people (O'Reilly says, "I hope not!") in a way we have never seen before!

"Burma -- no way (offered as a former FP specialist on the country)"

Read this:

Alarm Raised Over Possible Nuclear Links Between Burma, North Korea

"It is known that when the CIA arrived in Pakistan in the late fall of 2001, to interview Pakistani nuclear scientists about proliferation to Al Qaida, two of the most important ones (besides Kahn) "fled" Pakistan and became "fugitives" (under orders?) living "in exile" in Myanmar. Hmmmmmm!........ "

How is it you know of all these fearsome things that the rest of us are kept in the dark about? I don't mean that as a smartass question, don't pound me. I just am trying to assess your response.
