Now I have to tell my sister who IS a member to turn in her card and get her money refunded. She loves that store so it will be difficult.

I love it too so I will not immediately tear up my card but will shift a lot of my shopping to SAMS meanwhile giving COSTCO heck about the position. On my card I have written "COSTCO is ANTI-BUSH" in permanent marker. Should be a conversation starter anytime the card is pulled out.

Tell your sister that all is not lost. I was a Costco member until I found SAM's and saw lower prices, better selections, and a lower annual membership fee.
