"Xenalyte have you ever heard of a police officer losing control of his\her gun? It happens several times per year throughout America. And their job is full time law enforcement."

You mean, the gun goes nuts and the cop can't hold on to it, and it's jumping all around and trying to escape and off someone like a rogue SUV?

Doesn't happen but once or twice a month around here.

DC: Never take a shower with a firearm. I agree. Too hard to get all the water out and you could have corrosion problems.

X: Bet you didn't use conditioner.

Bet DC is a man. They tend not to understand the need for conditioner. Some of them even use bar soap instead of shampoo. But I think with proper training, even the male pilots can learn how to properly clean their gun. ; ·)

I went to college with a guy who washed his hair with Palmolive. I am not making that up.

And then I'll laugh.

No sense of humour my eye. You busted me up with that one.

Are you a pilot?

No, but I drove my car past an airport once. That's how I got to know more about airline safety than Democrat F-ing With Republicans (DFW_Repub).

I've washed my hair with "Dawn, the Grease Cutter." But there was a very good reason for that.

Do you have problem with that?

Timing is everything. I can observe a humourous event and "compartmentalize" it, then celebrate the humor when time permits.

"You mean, the gun goes nuts and the cop can't hold on to it, and it's jumping all around and trying to escape and off someone like a rogue SUV?"

Senator Barbara Boxer has called for gun manufacturers to produce guns that can not go nuts and escape from the cops.

Close. With my length of hair, there is no NEED for conditioner. When I wore a younger mans clothes, I had more to cap my cranium with. And yes, I did six years as a jet engine mechanic and a couple more as a civilian machinist. Sometimes, you have to use ANYTHING to get the grease/oil/jet fuel/gasoline out of your hair.

A hint to you home mechanics and pros out there... it may work great on the rest of you, but you'll never get all the Lava out of your hair in one shower. The grit in that soap sticks around for a couple days.

As for keeping things properly clean:

This is for fighting, this is for fun.

I understand. Did you know GoJo works well on hair for getting out axle grease? The only problem is getting rid of the smell of GoJo. Dawn does the job, but then you have to use shampoo and conditioner to get the Dawn out. After doing all that, you probably now have dandruff. So get the Head 'N Shoulders. Now that you've scrubbed your scalp bare, a bar of soap will work just fine.

I just got another message from DFW_Repub in my mail. This time he searched my postings on other threads, and sent me one of them regarding my son in the Navy. He called my son gay, then asked to meet me in person. I sent the information to the moderator and asked that he be banned.

I just think that we should all be up front with eachother, and sharing this information is my part.

You're welcome! I'm going to take the psyche test again now. I haven't even gotten to the site yet, and I've already failed.

TSA spokesman Nico Melendez said the program's psychological- and background-test system "is the most fair kind of system that we could put in place to qualify as many as possible."

am i the only person getting fed up with this sort of gibberish?

Our friend is banned or suspended. I feel so left out. He didn't respond to my post #136 or contact me in any way. And I know why.

It's becasue Xena's little test exposed the fact that I am humorless. That and the fact that I have been known to wash my hair with Dawn, which came out due to Xena. Xena's at fault.

Yep, it's Xena's fault. (Glad nobody's blaming me. :) ) I think Xena should have to go back to your post #136 and reply to it, as DFW would have. That'll learn her!
