"How can the Bush administration continue to treat Saudi Arabia as a close ally? The blatant anti-Americanism that emanates from their official religion is a gross insult to this nation!"

I think Bush believes that, unlike Saddam, the Saudis can be frightened into cooperation, that they have an instinct for self-preservation which will cause them to reluctantly reign in the more extreme elements in their country.

Americans had better keep and eye on the Saudis and--above all!--maintain American power. The Saudis wouldn't mind shifting their alliance to China or Russia or the EU or anyone else. They are obviously not enamored of America; ours is an affair of mutual convenience.

There's no way the Saudi royalty will attempt to rein in these mullah cleric losers, given their own desire to maintain power.

Saudi Arabia should've been listed as a member of the Axis of Evil. Hell, now that Iraq has been eliminated as a threat, I think they should replace Iraq in the Axis.

Avoid terrorism tomorrow by invading Saudi Arabia today.

One thing's for sure - Bush would have no problems tying 9-11 to this hellhole country!
