Many of Hal's predictions were spot on.

• He said back in the 70's that Islamic fundamentalists were one of the greatest threats to the US.
• He said the world's focus would be increasingly drawn to Jerusalem. Who can argue with that?
• Hal never claimed to be a prophet. He simply took the scriptures and said, in order for this to happen, I think x might happen. And while he hasn't been perfect, he has a pretty good track record.

He needed to read the scriptures to predict the obvious? I've been predicting the same thing for twenty years and I haven't studied the scriptures in close to 40 years. BTW, I predict that tomorrow there will be daylight followed by darkness.

I have read the Late Great Planet Earth and i'm sorry but Hal Lindsey has destroyed much of his credibility.
