After persuading Gen. Wesley Clark to enter the presidential sweepstakes last September and staffing his campaign with their closest advisors, Bill and Hillary Clinton are reportedly preparing to dump the former NATO Commander.
"[The Clintons] are stepping away from [him] so fast, like rats from a ship," NBC's Chris Matthews said Sunday.
"The Clintons deny any connection to the Clark campaign," he added, before predicting, "[Bill Clinton] will be the only man in history to fire Wesley Clark twice."
The Clark campaign crashed and burned in New Hampshire with a disappointing fourth place finish after he refused to distance himself from conspiracy-minded filmmaker Michael Moore, Clark's most prominent supporter.
Moore had falsely accused President Bush of being "a deserter" in Clark's presence and has produced a film accusing Bush of profiting from the 9/11 attacks.
Though some of Clark's wilder pronouncements have been little more than reflections of the Clintons' own comments [both Bill and Hillary have claimed that Bush ignored their warnings that Osama bin Laden posed the biggest threat to the U.S.] - Clark's attempts to blame Bush for the 9/11 attacks never resonated with the American public.

Surprise! Surprise!
The Clintons could go into business assembling and selling disposable political figures. They have used so many that they know all about their components and their shelf life.

Ol' Wes should thank his lucky stars.
We know what happens to others who have outlived their usefulness to the Clintoons.

Remember this fellow?
In Little Rock on 26 September 1993, Jerry Parks, whose company provided security for Clinton's presidential campaign and transition headquarters, was ambushed and killed by at least three bullets fired at close range from a 9mm semi-automatic pistol as he was driving home.
Not even a nice serene Park for the finish.

Remember this one .......... Suzanne Coleman?
Suzanne had an affair with Clinton when he was Attorney General in Arkansas. On 15 February 1977, she "committed suicide" with a gunshot to the back of the head. No autopsy was performed, and she was seven-and-a-half months pregnant with Clinton's child.
Clark got dumped twice? She got screwed twice.

With GWB apparently polling lower than Kerry, that gives Hillary cause to reconsider jumping in--although a brokered convention is better for her because she gets to remain above the fray until after the convention.

He did. Sure wish journalists would do just the slightest bit of fact checking.
I read an article in a Central IL magazine the other day talking about Regan's dramatic tax cuts in the late 1970's. Had to laugh!
To: thesummerwind
Every politician the Clintons support seems to be totally unsuccessful. Hope they support Kerry!

You can figure out how to do some things by looking at the underlying HTML language of posts. This is easier if you download the little developer program from Microsoft. Then you can rightclick on a highlighted text or picture and choose "view partial source."
The htm language for linking a picture is < img src="http://website.net/picture.jpg" > without the spaces I put in to let it show.
