No, not EVERY time, and not until I'm bankrupt, either. I am required by law to stop at $2000 (darn it!), or $4000 per couple. So far, I've sent three $20 checks, so I have the option of sending up to 97 more before bugging hubby to "do the right thang" on his share, LOL! And if I don't get particularly annoyed enough times, there is always the option of a lump-sum donation later on.

You suggested that "some" might start wondering why President Bush is generating criticism from conservatives, hinting that I do what I do somewhat naively. Not so. I evaluate the criticisms, some of which are fair, some of which are not. In the latter category, there are some critics whose agenda are fairly obvious, at least to me. And some are of the "I voted for Bush in 2000 but if he doesn't let the AWB expire/singlehandedly curb immigration/appoint Bork/call Muslims evil/veto NEA spending/eliminate education spending/send me a card when I'm sick I'll never vote for him again" variety. Frankly, it's getting old. By now, we ALL should know that there is no pleasing everybody.

Sorry this ran on so long.
