I had something interesting happen a couple days ago...an airline pilot I know was flying home the other night as a passenger on a short commuter flight. He was asked by the Captain flying the plane to sit behind and watch a passenger on the flight; seems that Air Marshals had been assigned to watch him on the previous flight (out of New York) and had followed him through the airport during his connection. They did not board the connecting flight, but warned the Captain to be careful. Apparently this passenger (with an Arabic-sounding name) had been taking repeated one-night trips to New York with no checked or carry-on luggage. Not so remarkable in itself, but apparently he drew Federal attention somehow. This story was confirmed to me in person a couple days later by the captain of the involved flight. Maybe nothing, but seemed quite curious.

When the fever sets in you are contagious. By canceling flights you have given the disease time to advance to where traveling may not be possible.Of course everything we say here is conjecture, we may be so far off base as to their intentions we won't know till it has bit us in the ass.

Another miscalculation was the use of 19 Saudi's. Expecting the US to put pressure/invade Saudia Arabia and cause mass confusion and unrest there. Instead we went into Iraq and fouled up his plans for a takeover in Saudi Arabia. He's trying his best to make his plans work in Iraq, and it ain't gonna work.

I don't see how a hijacking is possible anymore, that only worked once, the pilots aren't going to open the cockpit door no matter what is happening in the cabin. they will dive and turn the plane so that standing up in the cabin is impossible, and head for the nearest airport. and the passengers will be fighting to the death.

Ok, in a nut shell (and trust me, there are more posts upstream with more information...)

UAE now issues passports to Falcons. These passports require a list of Vaccines. Two vet research facilities have live viral vaccines that are required to be issues passports. Live viral vaccines are sheddable. One of the URLs below is for Falcon pox. Another poster from this thread is familiar with Falcon pox and says it is a non issue. However, Pox viriis was a bio weapon Iraq/Russia has been playing with. So to date, if this is harmless, it is a nonissue. If it isn't harmless, then falcons are being bread to become immune shedding carriers for harmful viruses as a bioweapons vehicle.

I think they were crossing smallpox and camelpox...and who knows what else, as there were rumors about ebola. The potential danger of falcon vaccination passports from the UAE would be to set the bird up as a timed vector. It would take environmental factors or a simple injection of some sort (anti-inflammatories?) to trigger the immunesuppression and start the viral shedding. I think with this avian flu this is already occurring without assistance...just a matter of infection. If the avian flu continues killing humans at the 3 out of 4 rate, they don't need anything else until we get a human vaccine.

Guess you missed my earlier post. 4 hijackers on one plane, 1st hijacker snatches baby from some mothers arm and hold by neck threatining to kill him/her, air marshall stands up exposing himself, 2nd hijacker snatches another baby opposite side of plane, 3rd and 4th hijackers in the midst of confusion position themselves to take down Air Marshall, take his gun while the other two are still holding babies. All four make it to cabin door in less than 4 minutes, break the door in and take control, it's doable.
