My understanding, and this was posted form official reports back during the Holidays, was that there were emails and web postings on Al Qaeda sites that kept mentioning BA 223, BA 202, 204, 207, etc. This was posted with comments about 9/11 repeats and hijackings and Washington, New York and Los Angeles. So they (Homeland Security et al) were thinking that this was a flight number. And in fact, BA flight 223 is canceled.

However, other FReepers have theorized this way be a date: 202: Feb 2nd, 223: Feb 23rd, etc. Since 202 and 204 came up numerous times, some wonder if something might be tried between tomorrow and Tuesday.

I think you are absolutely correct. Aq wants to destroy the entire US and global economy, to turn the world into an Islamic "empire" in the vacuum it's created.

Propane Blast Injures Two; Authorities Looking At Cell Phone

THOMASVILLE, Pa. -- An explosion at a facility that refurbishes propane tanks for gas grills shredded a tractor-trailer and injured two workers Thursday.

Investigators were trying to determine whether a ringing cell phone could have ignited propane from a leaking canister, a fire official said. A workers' cell phones rang at the time of the blast, which was heard more than 12 miles away.

The Aero Energy Inc. employees were securing a truckload of 1,152 propane tanks for delivery to Maryland at 4:25 a.m. when the explosion occurred, said plant manager William Wagner.

The employees, who were not identified, called a supervisor to see whether they should drive themselves to the hospital, but were told to call 911, Wagner said. Their injuries were not considered severe -- one was treated and released from the hospital but the other was kept for observation, said company president Tom Washburn.

Windows were blown out in a nearby industrial park, and a man standing there was knocked over but was not harmed. The Aero Energy plant is about 20 miles south of Harrisburg.

Fire officials said it's unclear whether a ringing cell phone could have caused the explosion. Similarly, many gas stations warn that cell phones could cause gasoline vapors to explode, but it is widely believed to be an urban legend.

Does anyone else think there may be a threat there? I asked this yesterday about these idiots thinking they could pull another Pearl Harbor.

According to what I heard part of the cancellation count are the return flights including the one from Dulles #222 canceled because #223 won't arrive to return. That sentence sounds funny, forgive me I just got up and I'm trying to catch up on 200+ posts. Also thinking about going back to the market.....things are ramping up IMHO.

And where did they mention "radiological device"?

Much to the chagrin of my wife, I am now doing a rare thing and turning FNC on mid-day Saturday. I think it's gonna stay on 24x7, until we are past all of this.

Thank heavens I can hear FNC in every room when it's on.
