Steps in the right direction, I suppose. The two questions I have are these:
Will Musharraf follow through, stop all proliferation activities, and punish those who are responsible (besides himself, of course)?
Will Musharraf survive long enough to make it happen?

Musharraf said there were credible allegations against European middlemen and other nations, "so it is not Pakistan alone." Ah, yes--the old "They all do it" defense, as popularized by Bill Clinton.

The Rosenbergs paid with their lives for the same treachery.

Ernest remember that comment I made last night about the Pakistanis selling their nuke secrets to Libya?
look at this comment...
Starting in late December, Pakistani government officials began backing away from their vigorous denials that their scientists had provided critical help to aspiring nuclear states, including Iran and North Korea.
Bush announced to the world the Libyan surrender of WMD in late December..

How much foreign aid did we send Pakistan's way last year? About $4 billion worth, wasn't it? Meanwhile, they seem a much greater WMD proliferation threat than Saddam was.

We probably had a meeting with the Pakistani's shortly after confronting Libya!!
Back those suckers into a corner.
AND, we now have the Pakistani's military getting more active rounding up bad guys!!!!
