The most puzzling and infuriating part of it is that the ones who receive the scraps are so obliging. Don't they realize how demeaning and condescending is the treatment they get from their RAT slavemasters?

The allure of victimhood is simply more pervasive, more persuasive, and therefore more powerful than the American dream based on self-confidence and hard work.

Besides, it gives both the pushers of victimhood and the purchasers a "warm fuzzy".

I wouldn't want to be a black parent trying to instill a winner's attitude (no excuses) into my children, with the ubiquitous messages to the contrary, constantly working against me.
