The big noise talk show host in Boston is Howie Carr on WRKO. He has a lifetime of stories and tales about the three sheets to the wind, party animal, John Kerry.

These will get national exposure as this monkey climbs up the Democrat tree.

does anyone know what poor veteran's medals he actually threw -- has he been asked about this and what has been his response. i've read about it numerous times before but never seen any true scrutiny of it.

My 2 cents?

That bookcover's picture and author credits will be damaging, and damning. I believe it is enough to permanently taint Mr. Kerry. So keep a weather eye peeled for the "next one up"-- Edwards.

The Jackal Pack Media ( press & entertainment divisions ) are pining for a Clinton II, and if they fall behind Edwards, look for a 1992 reprise of shilling, spinning, and covering-up stories they don't like.

It's fascinating to watch, in a morbid, mordant sort of way... I wonder if those in the media have any sense of how exquisitely they are being manipulated?

On top of that it's all about journalistic careers being made and getting such a buzz about the Democrat candidates that people will actually tune in. People tuning in = advertising dollars.

So apart from sympathy with 'cRAT candidates the various media outlets have to sell themselves in an ever more brutal "news" jungle.

Is that Kerry on the front of his book? One guy has a long face like him. And it's hard to imagine him keeping himself off the cover.

For some reason I can't recall Hamid Mowlana's name rings a bell. I found this bio:

Hamid Mowlana is the director of International Communications at American University. Dr. Mowlana teaches and has written extensively on international communication, cultural and psychological aspects of international relations, and worldwide socio-economic development. His books include: Invisible Crises: What Conglomerate Control of Media Means for America and the World (Westview, 1996); Communication Technology and Development; International Flow of News (UNESCO, 1988); Triumph of the Image: The Media's War in the Persian Gulf (Westview, 1992); The Passing of Modernity: Communication and the Transformation of Society, 1990; The Global Media Debate: Its Rise, Fall, and Renewal 1993; Global Information and World Communication: New Frontiers in International Relations 1986; International Communication in Transition: The End of Diversity?.

But it doesn't remind me of anything. Anyone recognize his name?
