Why Lehane? Anyone could have gotten their hands on this from a leaker, and it was Edwards who created it. Lehane is more about digging up dirt from the far past, and sitting on it until the most opportune moment. This isn't the kind of extremely damaging info that he's famous for, and in fact I could see a scenario where this info could actually benefit Edwards' campaign(after all, these are Machiavelian Dem voters we are talking about.) In fact I wouldn't be stunned to find out that the Edwards team themselves leaked it, though that isn't my first guess.

Actually I am of the theory that the Clintons, as usual, are triangulating, with Clark as their perceived annointed one, and a quiet deal with Edwards as the Mr. Sunshine alternative. Too risky for them to invest their hold on power to just one candidate.
