It is SERIOUSLY time to make the reconfirmation of recess appointees a separate process THAT CANNOT BE FILIBUSTERED, using the procedures outlined elsewhere for challenging the filibuster - i.e., the "nuclear" option. Yes, it could come back to haunt the republicans in later years, but I am ready to see this level of obstructionism come to an end.
