I don't have any more evidence for you, doug. But here's another point for attacking Hillary in this matter:
From Michelle Malkin's column of June 27, 2002, in which Malkin discussed Hillary's meeting with the supporters of clemency at the White House. Malkin was writing about the Pell grants for needy children.
"The most opinionated and outspoken advocate For the Children had absolutely nothing to say about these clever education looters."
(And why is it that, even if I use Google, I get Netscape Search, and Netscape does not give a usable URL? If you think this idea is worth following up, Malkin's column will come up if you search her name, and June 27,2002.)

When Hillary visited New Square during the campaign, after her major address, she had a private tea with the wives of the rabbis. I know of someone who was there. Though nothing was divulged of what was talked about, I believe that a deal was struck to hand out pardons for getting the votes of the community (two members of the community were subsequently pardoned by Bubba before he left office).
To me, it's obvious that a deal was struck. I worked in Republican politics for a few years here and I used to accompany Al D'Amato to New Square on occasion. Al would ususally take that community in a landslide.

Can you get me in touch with D'Amato and the person you know who was there?

The person I knew who was my contact with D'Amato was the the unlametned turncoat Mr. Michael Forbes who was an aid to D'Amato at the time. I haven't been as connected as I once was for some time now. I might be able to get election returns but I'm sure those were reported during the 2000 elections.
My source for the tea party was a co-worker of one of the participants. I pressed him to get more info but she wasn't talking. I trust my source. He lurks here occassionally and is no fan of Hillary's.

Wasn't there a story in which Hillary had denied ever being at a meeting with the leadership? As I remember, she then admitted she was there but claimed that she had no involvement. Does anyone have that story?

Yes there was, and it is why I believe the story I heard. It gave Hillary plausible deniability. The coffee klatsch was just a "chat" with the girls, who could then go back and pitch the deal to their husbands, the "leaders".

Here, Doug, I have something for you:
LINK: CLICK.
EXCERPT:
Assemblyman Dov Hikind, a Democrat from Brooklyn, declined to endorse either candidate. In the past, Hikind has criticized Clinton for accepting money from donors with ties to terrorist organizations.
In the May 26 issue of the Forward, which reported Clinton's attendance at a secret fundraising dinner put on by Palestinian-American businessman Hani Masri, Hikind said, "This is part of the problem with Hillary Clinton. She just doesn't get it. She doesn't understand why many of us have this major problem with her positions."
Masri's family has links to Yasser Arafat and to Al-Ayyam, a Palestinian newspaper whose columnists have encouraged Palestinian violence against Israel. The dinner reportedly raised $50,000 for Clinton.
==================================================
Question --- did she give that money back?

The Rebbe in New Square/Kiryas Joel essentially instructed all of his congregants to vote for Hillary, as she promised more aid to the community for schools and disabled care.
As for Loozio, I saw him campaign on the same day I ran into Hillary. If that day was any indication, I'm surprised that little Ricky didn't lose by 25%, let alone 12%. He ran a pathetic campaign and was in over his head, Lawn Guyland political hack that he was.
Its a shame Rudy got distracted. Even if he wouldn't have beaten her, it would have been VERY close.

Thankfully he beat it and became an inspiration to many in more ways than one.
I'll see if I can find the Rebbe online somewhere.
