This is a variation on the "GW BUSH'S FAULT" defense.
This is the "RUSH CAUSED IT" defense.

Nothing like satire in the morning (helps ease the pain somewhat).
3 things killed the Pack on Sunday:
- That 4th and a foot fiasco on the Eagles 40. If they would've went for it and made it, they would have essentially iced the game (less than 2:30, with only one timeout left for the Eagles and the 2-minute warning to stop the clock). If they go and miss, the Eagles would've gotten the ball at the 40 (give or take a couple yards) instead of the 20 where they got it (IMHO, the Eagles still would have been forced to kick the field goal). Even a properly-executed pooch punt would've put the ball around the 10 (and burned a couple extra seconds off the clock).
- The prevent-victory defense on 4th and 26. Blitzing worked the first 3 downs; that's why it was 4th and 26. Why was the Packer defense guarding the sidelines and the end zone (70 some yards from the line of scrimmage) instead of the first-down marker? Stupid call, dumber execution.
- Favre's throwing away the game in OT. He should've eaten the ball; instead, he put it where only Eagles could catch it.
