Did you guys see the gross parody during the pregame of Rush with the pills? Very tasteless.

At the risk of being accussed of sour grapes, I too think this game was fixed. I also believe that the Rams-Panthers game was fixed.
I think you should not venture out today without wearing your tinfoil hat...and beware of black helicopters circling.

Personally, I blame Mike Sherman, who just like Mike Martz the night before, lost his cojones at the moment of the game when he needed them the most.

Alas, I like Favrre, but I can't stand the Packers. Favre's sarcasm is refreshing.
To: HankReardon
"Brett Favre's post game remark: "Brett can't do it all, one of my linemen should have fell down and allowed me to be sacked before I threw that ball, not my fault! And Rush should have said I was over rated, he should have McNabbed me, not my fault, LeRoy can't do it all." Am I wrong, or isn't this two attempts at good-natured humor. The "bias" referred to is supposed to be Rush's bias against older quarterbacks. It is lame, but it does seem harmless. Or was Farve trying to claim Rush was/is racist? [not]

WHY did Favre throw that jump ball?!?!?!?!
To: 7thson
I think you mistake bad choices for fixing the game. Since pro sports is all about misdirection at key points, they are ripe for charges that going by the book or agianst the book are "fixes". Did you have money on the game?

My team's not in the hunt any more (Titans), but I think that the Colts and Manning, who made NO mistakes again this game should win the Super Bowl.Whoever wins, I just hope that the Super Bowl is as good a game as any of this weekend's...

Right now, I do not have a dog in this hunt so I will probably sit out the rest of the playoffs and the SuperBowl. Your choice, but as far as I'm concerned this has been the best playoff football I've ever seen. And, I'm a Giants fan! I'm not going to miss any of the next three games.

A vast left wing conspiracy paid Bret Favre to throw the ball to his opponents in overtime. Also The Green Bay coach was paid to make a mess out of the last minute of regulation time - they could have thrown a hail Mary, and won the game before the overtime, or at least kicked a field goal. I guess I need to take off my tin hat, and go to work..

Prolly not fixed, but some God-awful coaching/execution by the Pack. Should have been up 21-7 at the half, but Ahman Green bumped into a lineman just before the goal line. Green Bay dominated the 2nd half too, but kept stalling drives on 3rd and short by trying to pass when the run was unstoppable. Sherman should have played to win and not play not to lose by punting on 4th and 1 when one yard would have sealed it. And how in hell does a 4th and 26 get converted? Favre's OT pass was completely stupid too.

Rush woulda been attacked for age discrimination.

I'm rooting for the Colts, but more for Dungy than for Manning (who is unbelievablely hot). Hopefully it'll be a bit warmer than it was for your guys in NE (the Titans showed tremendous heart, as they always do). I think the Colts play `em tight regardless of the conditions, and if it's over 25 degrees I see them winning.
I wouldn't mind McNabb winning it all....it'd give Rush something else to choke on.

I agree, Green Bay was playing very good, and Favre was in the groove much more than McNabe ever did, or ever will be. This thing never ever needed to go to overtime. Even in overtime they had a good chance to score as well, and failed for some mysterious reason. Favre showed his magic he passed a 50 yard to the end zone, and his receiver got it between two defenders! He was MORE than capable of converting at the last minutes of the game. Favre was performing miracles, and was shining like no other quarterback in recent history! What a waste!
