However, nobody noticed her as being nutty back then. I did recently read a theory that when Oliphant got power as Elections Supervisor it set off some sort of pre-existing hidden psychiatric condition that caused her to act nutty. It wasn't that Oliphant was merely incompetent. She also acted like a total MENTAL CASE.
