Hi Ox, thanks for finding the old news story, and the link. I worked for 14 years just 2 miles from the Apartment complex where the Chicago area crime occurred. That Apt. Building complex was well known for lots of trouble (police calls) all the time and was an embarrassment to the local community. Lots of "section 8" types living there. It was still shocking, none the less. As I remember, the cute son of Ms. Evans was kept alive for many hours after the crime, and was eventually stabbed to death just because the killers didn't know what to do with him. I find it interesting how cheap some sections of society view other peoples lives.
