You're right.

They're probably secretly begging for us to 'bring liberty.'

Probably a year or so ago, a poll from Iran was released showing that 70% of Iranians supported The United States, and that's probably because Iran hasn't been a Theocratic State long enough to permanently suppress liberty's memory or desire.

I wish them well, and hope they join the right side.

They are a beautiful people, that's for sure, and they do have a lot to offer the world.
