Philly Scouts giving in again

Winston Churchill, who famously recommended against giving in, admired the Boy Scouts for their rock-solid principled stances that preclude giving in.

In his 1937 book Great Contemporaries, Churchill wrote, "[The Boy Scout Movement] speaks to every heart its message of duty and honour: 'Be Prepared' to stand up faithfully for Right and Truth, however the winds may blow."

Executives of Philadelphia's Cradle of Liberty Boy Scout Council announced Monday that they are about to give in to the radical Left after years of pressure to include homosexuals as Scout leaders.

The council will soon unveil a new anti-discrimination policy that appeases funding agencies and the City of Philadelphia while discreetly lifting the ban on homosexual leaders.

Pew Charitable Trust cut off $100,000, and the United Way canceled nearly half a million dollars of funding to the Philadelphia Scouts.

Why should they care about the Pee-u Trust and the Any Way? This is only teaching the boys to cast aside their values for the almighty dollar. What do they actually do with the money? Go camping? Camp sites in state parks are relatively cheap so hold a car wash. Better yet someone in the club probably has a spot of land outside the city for free. I can't think of any other kid organization that gets $$$ from charities so if the kids want to do anything their parents chip in or they have a bake sale. Wow, what a concept, let the kids work!

Not to worry,the TLA(Trial lawyers of America) are prepared to litigate the boy scouts out of existence at the first hint of pedophilia which would of course be the result of admitting an abusive gay scout leader into the organization without a complete background check.Also the ACLU will denounce any such check as homophobic harassment and demand a large settlement and that all such biased background checks cease immediately with the exception of those which will prevent any Christian minded heterosexual individual from becoming a scout leader.In fact they may insist upon lesbian boy scout leaders to add more diversity,preferably one with satanist credentials....And NO not all gay are pedophiles nor are all lesbians satanists....

You do a diservice to the Anglican Church when you say the Episcopal Church is going to oblivian. ECUSA is coming to and end, however, The Anglican Diocese of Christ the King is growing rapidly from coast to coast.
