The French are perhaps the only nation wishing to be neutral in the War on Terror. At least the Taliban had the balls to pick a side.
To: Mark Felton
France is not neutral; France is now our enemy.

French authorities released seven men - one French, one American and several Algerians - whose names were found to be on US watch-lists. The seven men were all due to board a flight on Wednesday and had been briefly questioned The freeking French fairies. What they need is an attitude adjustment that's been overdue for 250 years. A nice earthquake which topples the Eiffel Tower might fit the bill...and believe me, I'm being kind in this one.

>>US officials said they fear Air France has been infiltrated by Islamic extremists and have criticised French co-operation in providing details of passengers on US-bound flights. <<
WHEN are we going to get tough with the Vichy scum?
Hopefully, since GWB is not happy with them, he'll think of something.
To: Mark Felton
Let's terminate all flights between the US and France and see who cries uncle first.

However, a French interior ministry spokesman said little evidence of a terrorist plot had been found.
The sentence is incomplete...let me finish it!
"However, a French interior ministry spokesman said little evidence of a terrorist plot had been found...AFTER we made sure to tip off all the terrorists! After all, we LOOOOOVE the Islamazis!"
There, that's more complete!

Did someone forget to tell the French that we are at war? The old paradigms no longer exist. As arrogant as it sounds, when the largest power on Earth goes to war, you can't just sit on the fence. Pick a side, or get pushed to one.

One official said Washington had been hoping to keep the US-French negotiations confidential, adding that the hope was that "we would be able to lure some of these people in".I'm beginning to truly hate these creatures. If one American dies because of French haughtiness, we should return the Statue of Liberty, with a few hundred JDAMs attached to it...

A French interior ministry spokesman said little evidence of a terrorist plot had been found.Yes, and news of a mushroom cloud seen ascending from the former site of the Eiffel Tower won't convince me of "terrorism" either.

This is the straw that broke the Camels back and then pushed him 150 feet into the bedrock.
Surely, France is about to pay dearly at the hand of our our Country for something like this.
I hope its disinfo and they are doing our bidding for their own sake. But if the past is any indication, and it usually is, then France made a big mistake today.

French authorities found nothing to suggest the men had terrorist links. Zee French authorities found nothing to suggest zee men had terrible stinks.
