I may have missed it, but I see no mention of whether this major-general was in the "deck of cards", which I assume to mean no. While the continued thinning of the ranks is necessary and welcomed, we have bigger fish to fry.

See post 7. There are only 13 cards left, and we need to be going after more than 13 people. Plus I expect some of those 13 might be unknown KIAs. A 2000# JDAM doesn't leave much behind close to the impact point. I suspect this guy was a direct report to someone at the "card" level.
