"He felt safer with the Americans," Rubaiye added. This says a lot, on so many levels.

Someone tell the Democrats:
1. They were wrong, again, that Saddam wasn't an important capture.
2. They were wrong, again, that Saddam wasn't directing at least some of the terrorist attacks against our soldiers.
3. They are wrong, again, that Saddam may be mistreated. He knows he's safer with American soldiers than Iraqi civilians.
4. They are wrong that he did not have a hand in 9/11. This article does not touch on that subject, but numerous other reports have come out in the British press that Atta met with Iraqi intelligence in the weeks before 9/11. To get anthrax, perhaps? Regardless, the truth will out.
