Soldiers bumped from flight home by Congressman

This morning 60 soldiers due to leave Baghdad to return home for the holidays were bumped from their flight home by a group of Congressman. My son-in-law was one of the soldiers bumped from the flight and required to take a later flight. Can anyone come up with information about who these Congressmen were? I would like to write each of them about this.

What details do you want? My son-in-law was first on the list to be transported out of Baghdad this morning. Scheduled for the first flight out of Baghdad. He and the others were bumped to later flights so a group of Congressman could take their flight.

Any more details ask me and I will try to find out. But, his wife, my daughter is in Germany and I may not be able to get information until tomorrow morning. It is 3:15 AM there and she is caring for 3 children, one of them only 3 weeks old. She had hoped to see her husband tonight - but he's not there yet.

Most likely their names will become public knowledge in the next few days, as they try to get face-time before the cameras.

It seems that every day there is another group of these stinking politicians going to Iraq. Can you imagine the cost and the interference with the military there, baby-sitting these A$$holes? It is my understanding that every night they are taken back to Kuwait so that they can sleep in peace.
