A TEENAGE Brit watched in horror as her boyfriend’s throat was slashed during a romantic trip to India.
Yeol Cohen, 27, was murdered as he tried to stop the girl being molested by a gang on a ferry.
The Israeli was returning from the idyllic Andaman Islands with sweetheart Carina Sewell, 19, from Dorchester, Dorset.
The distraught gap-year student helped cops pick out his killer from 1,200 passengers and 300 crew after the MV Nancowri docked in Madras, southern India.
A police source said Yeol was killed after he took on a gang of men who assaulted Carina after the couple went above deck on Saturday night “to be intimate”.
He suffered deep wounds during the struggle.
Police chief Netaraj Ramachandran said: “A heavy weapon had been used. She identified two or three people and we should get the killer.”
